Job summary

Cuddington & Dinton C of E Primary School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic KS2 Class Teacher to join our friendly and supportive team. This fixed-term role runs until 31 August 2027, starting January 2027, with full-time hours.

We are looking for a dedicated classroom practitioner who can deliver engaging lessons across KS2, use assessment to support progress, differentiate for SEND and more able pupils, and contribute to safeguarding and the wider life of the school.

Qualifications

• QTS required for the role.
• ECTs considered for flexibility.
• Strong understanding of KS2 teaching and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, creative lessons across the KS2 curriculum.
• Plan and adapt teaching to meet diverse needs, including SEND and higher achievers.
• Use assessment effectively to identify next steps and support pupil progress.
• Create a stimulating classroom environment that promotes curiosity and a love of learning.
• Build positive, professional relationships with pupils, colleagues, parents and the wider community.
• Demonstrate commitment to safeguarding and promoting child welfare.
