GSL Education is currently seeking a passionate, experienced, and committed KS2 Teacher to join a vibrant and welcoming primary school in Loughton starting from September 2025. This is a full-time teaching position, ideal for an educator who thrives on inspiring young minds and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons to children in Years 3–6.
This role would suit a teacher with a solid understanding of the KS2 curriculum, a passion for inclusive education, and a desire to become a valued member of a dedicated school community. You will be supported by a strong leadership team, a cohesive staff body, and a forward-thinking ethos that places children’s learning and wellbeing at its heart.

Children are enthusiastic, polite, and engaged, with supportive families and carers
Strong emphasis on professional development, staff wellbeing, and collaborative working
Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that meet the diverse needs of learners across Key Stage 2
Plan and prepare schemes of work and lesson plans in line with the national curriculum
Track and assess pupil progress regularly using both formative and summative methods
Provide regular feedback to pupils and parents/carers
Create a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment
Work collaboratively with colleagues across year groups and participate in whole-school initiatives
Uphold safeguarding, behaviour management, and inclusion policies
Contribute to the broader school community, including clubs, events, and enrichment activities
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 2 in a UK school setting
Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and current assessment frameworks
Excellent classroom management skills with a positive and consistent approach
Ability to differentiate instruction and support learners with a range of needs, including SEND and EAL
Enthusiastic, reflective, and committed to professional growth
Enhanced child workforce DBS registered to the update service (or willingness to apply through GSL)
Right to work in the UK
