Job summary

Oakfield Infant School in Gateshead is seeking a KS2 Class Teacher for a fixed-term post from 01 January 2027 to 31 August 2027 (or until return of the postholder). The successful candidate will deliver high-quality KS2 lessons, contribute to school development and work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and the wider Trust.

The role offers professional development opportunities, a supportive team, and access to LGPS and flexible working where possible. Closing date: 21 September 2026.

The successful candidate will be subject to an online search in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education (2026) legislation.

Your principal place of work will be Oakfield Infant School but you may be required to work at other Trust sites within Smart Multi Academy Trust within reason.
