Qualifications & Experience:
  • QTS (or equivalent) and an undergraduate degree
  • Successful experience teaching the primary curriculum
  • Understanding of current theory and best practices in teaching and learning, especially regarding progress in primary children
  • Strong subject knowledge of the National Curriculum
  • Understanding of child development and how it influences planning
  • Effective classroom behavior management strategies aligned with school policies
  • Awareness of equal opportunity issues and strategies to address them
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
