Job summary

Bearwood Primary & Nursery School is seeking a KS2 Class Teacher for Year 5, starting January 2027. The school seeks a dedicated colleague who can motivate and inspire pupils, with a trauma-informed approach to support emotional and social development.

The successful candidate will be a confident and competent teacher with high expectations, able to create a stimulating learning environment and collaborate with parents and staff to raise standards across school life.

Qualifications

Job description

Bearwood Primary &Nursery School are seeking to appoint a KS2 Class Teacher in Year 5, startingin January 2027.

We are looking for a newcolleague to join our dedicated team. Above all applicants must believe thatwith motivation, passion and positivity they can make a difference to thechildren and their families, raise aspirations and ensure the best possible outcomesfor everyone.

The successful candidate willbe a confident and competent teacher (we welcome applications from ECTs) with high expectations ofchildren’s academic, emotional and social development through a trauma informedapproach. The successful applicant will also be skilled in creating astimulating and purposeful learning environment and have excellentinterpersonal skills. They will be passionate, driven, and willing to ‘go thatextra mile’ when contributing to the wider aspects of school life.

The teacher will:
