Job summary

PK Education is looking to appoint a Key Stage 1 Teacher to join our successful supply team and teach in a local Doncaster primary school. This fixed-term KS1 role is based in a Year 2 classroom and starts ASAP, offering the chance to contribute to a proactive KS1 program.

The role requires QTS and Year 2 KS1 experience, with ability to support pupils through small nurture groups and literacy/maths interventions where appropriate.

Qualifications

• Hold QTS and be registered to teach in primary education.
• Experience delivering Year 2 lessons in KS1.
• Experience with small nurture groups to boost attainment.
• Desire to be part of a committed school team.
• Experience supporting KS1 pupils.
• Ideally delivery of Literacy and Maths interventions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Year 2 KS1 lessons in a primary classroom.
• Provide small group catch-up work for a class of around 28 pupils.
• Contribute to safeguarding and maintain a positive learning environment.
