KS1 Teaching Assistant | Cardiff | September Start

Location: North Cardiff

Start Date: 01/09/25

Contract: Long-term, temporary

Daily Rate: £88.94 (increases dependent on experience, qualifications & client rate)

Academics are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and supportive mainstream Primary School in the Llanrumney area of Cardiff.

Role Responsibilities:

Support the KS1 class teacher with classroom activities and learning

*

Assist in the preparation of materials and classroom displays

*

Work with small groups or individual pupils to reinforce learning

*

Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment

*

Provide emotional and educational support as needed

Requirements:

*

Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant

*

Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)

*

Registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)

*

A relevant qualification (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, TA qualification) is desirable but not essential
