Qualifications

Job description

North West England, Lancashire, Oswaldtwistle, Accrington

Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours

Education and Training

£12.90 - £14 per hour

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the KS1 teacher in delivering lessons and supporting students in the classroom
  • Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional help
  • Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Assist with classroom management and behaviour monitoring
  • Support in preparing materials and resources for lessons
Minimum Requirements:
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Previous experience working with children in an educational setting
  • Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Patience and empathy when working with young learners
  • Basic understanding of child development and learning processes
