Job Title: KS1 Teaching Assistant (TA)   Location: Doncaster   Pay Rate: up to £120 per day (depending on experience)   Start Date: Immediate   Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

Responsibilities

• Supporting children in KS1 with their learning, both individually and in small groups.
• Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
• Encouraging positive behaviour, social skills, and independence.
• Supporting pupils with additional needs and adapting activities where necessary.
• Preparing learning materials and maintaining a safe, welcoming classroom environment.

Requirements

• Have experience working with children in KS1 or similar settings.
• Be patient, caring, and adaptable.
• Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Hold an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one.
• Provide a full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any gaps in employment in the last 10 years.
