Teaching Personnel are excited to be hiring for a KS1 classroom teaching assistant for a thriving school in the Blackpool area.

Role: Teaching Assistant
Location: Blackpool
Type: Full-time, Term-time only
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Is this you?

  • A driven individual with a passion for learning and working with children.
  • Fantastic communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students and staff.
  • A can-do attitude and an ambition to learn and develop new skills.
  • Experience working with children (desirable, but not essential).

What you'll be doing:

  • Working alongside the class teacher to engage the pupils in lessons and other activities.
  • Helping pupils with their English and Maths in small groups and 1:1 settings.
  • Fostering a genuine love for learning in the formative years of the pupils you work with.
  • Supporting pupils in both their academic and social development.
  • Creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all.
