Job summary

Step Teachers Ltd is seeking a KS1 Teacher for full-time daily supply across primary schools in London. You will deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum and support pupil progress within a positive, inclusive classroom.

The role offers weekly PAYE pay, opportunities to work across multiple schools in Haringey and surrounding areas, and a focus on safeguarding and well-being for both pupils and staff.

Qualifications

• Must hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Recent KS1 teaching experience required.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willing to obtain one.
• Strong classroom management and adaptability.

KS1 Teacher - Full-time, daily supply from as soon as possible

Duties as KS1 Teacher:

• Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports pupil progress
• Assess and monitor pupil attainment, providing feedback and support
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan and adapt learning activities
• Manage behaviour effectively and promote a respectful learning culture
• Uphold safeguarding and welfare standards at all times

Ideal KS1 Teacher:

• Holds QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
• Has recent experience teaching in KS1
• Demonstrates strong classroom management and adaptability
• Is confident delivering the national curriculum and supporting varied learning needs
• Has a clear Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willing to obtain one

Your salary - dependent on experience - is paid weekly through PAYE - that means no self-employed or umbrella companies.
