Are you an experienced Key Stage 1 (KS1) teacher with a passion for supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are looking for a dedicated, compassionate teacher to join our welcoming primary school in Darlington, where every child's unique needs and potential are celebrated.

Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver differentiated lessons in line with the National Curriculum, tailored to meet the diverse needs of your KS1 class, including students with SEN.
Provide targeted support and intervention for students with SEN, working closely with the SENCO and Teaching Assistants to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
Monitor and track student progress, adjusting teaching methods as needed to ensure all students, including those with SEN, are progressing towards their learning goals.
Create an inclusive, nurturing classroom environment where every child feels valued, respected, and empowered to achieve their full potential.
Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers, providing feedback on student progress and suggesting strategies for further support at home.
Who We're Looking For:
A qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
Experience in teaching KS1, with a particular interest or experience in supporting children with SEN.
Knowledge of SEN frameworks and strategies, and a commitment to ongoing professional development in SEN.
A patient, empathetic, and creative approach to teaching, with a focus on fostering a supportive and inclusive classroom.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
