Job description

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 Primary Teacher for a client school in Southsea. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive school environment and inspire young learners during their formative years.

Responsibilities:
  1. Design, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the KS1 curriculum.
  2. Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages active participation and creativity.
  3. Assess student progress, offering constructive feedback to pupils and parents.
  4. Implement individualised learning strategies to support diverse learning needs.
  5. Use a variety of teaching techniques to accommodate different learning styles.
  6. Keep detailed records of attendance, achievements, and other essential documentation.
  7. Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the school leadership team to promote student success.
  8. Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
  9. Organise and oversee school trips, extracurricular activities, and special events.

Candidate Requirements:
  1. Eligible to work in the UK.
  2. Enhanced DBS check registered on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
