Job summary

Oasis Academy Connaught in Bristol is seeking a KS1 teacher for maternity cover. You will deliver engaging KS1 lessons, plan progression, assess and support learners, while working with a dedicated team across Oasis Connaught and Oasis Marksbury Road.

The role is a fixed-term contract starting January 2026, with a Main Pay Scale (M1–M6) and membership of the Teachers' Pension Scheme. Salary circa £32,916–£45,352, 32.5 hours per week, Mon-Fri.

Qualifications

• Deliver learning experiences for KS1 across the age and ability range.
• Use a range of teaching strategies to engage learners.
• Provide timely, constructive feedback and monitor progress.

Responsibilities

• Teach KS1 classes and deliver engaging lessons.
• Plan progression and develop schemes of work across year groups.
• Collaborate with SLT, colleagues and external agencies to support learners.
