Job summary

Oasis Community Learning is recruiting for a KS1 Teacher on maternity cover across Oasis Academy Connaught and Oasis Academy Marksbury Road. The role is based at either site with a fixed-term until 31 December 2027.

You will join a collaborative school community, delivering engaging lessons, maintaining high standards of pupil progress and safeguarding.

The post is full-time at 32.5 hours per week, paying on the Main Pay Scale (M1–M6) with Teachers’ Pension Scheme.

Responsibilities

• Teach KS1 pupils with effective lesson planning
• Be a positive role model and maintain high standards of behaviour
• Plan progression across the age range and deliver engaging lessons
• Assess progress and provide timely feedback to learners
• Collaborate with SLT, support staff and parents to support pupils
• Safeguard and promote welfare of children and young people
