Role: KS1 Teacher

Location: Reading

Salary: £150 - £300 (paid to Scale)

GSL Education are seeking a number of dedicated and passionate KS1 Teachers to join vibrant primary schools in Reading. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to make a positive impact on the academic and personal development of young learners.

Key Responsibilities as KS1 Teacher:

  • Engaging Lessons: Plan and deliver creative and inspiring lessons that align with the KS1 curriculum.
  • Individualised Support: Cater to the diverse learning needs of students, ensuring every child achieves their full potential.
  • Monitor Progress: Assess and track students' progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Positive Classroom Environment: Foster an inclusive and nurturing classroom where children feel safe, valued, and motivated to learn.
  • Collaborate with Staff and Parents: Work closely with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure the best outcomes for all students.
  • Support School Goals: Contribute to the school s ethos and commitment to providing high-quality education.

Essential Requirements:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status): Recognised teaching qualification for KS1.
  • Experience in KS1 Teaching: Proven ability to deliver the Key Stage 1 curriculum effectively.
  • Strong Classroom Management Skills: Create a structured and engaging learning environment.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
  • Commitment to Safeguarding: Promote the safety and well-being of all pupils.
  • Hold an enhanced child work force DBS registered with the online update service, or, willing to apply for a new on through GSL Education.
