Job summary

Responsibilities

• Support pupils' development in literacy, numeracy, communication and early learning skills.
• Encourage confidence, resilience and a positive attitude towards learning.
• Use diverse teaching strategies to make learning engaging and accessible.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants, SENCO and school staff to support pupils' needs.
• Provide targeted interventions to help pupils achieve objectives.
• Maintain accurate records of attainment, progress and attendance.
• Communicate with parents/carers about progress and wellbeing.
• Participate in staff meetings, parent consultations and school events.
• Follow safeguarding policies and confidentiality procedures.
• Engage in professional development to improve teaching practice.
