Job summary

Education Matters Group is seeking a dedicated KS1 Teacher for a full-time role in Twickenham. You will deliver engaging KS1 lessons, support pupil progress and foster a positive classroom environment.

The role requires QTS or equivalent, experience in KS1, and a strong commitment to safeguarding. Collaborate with colleagues and engage families to support pupil development within a safe setting.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised equivalent.
• Experience teaching within KS1.
• Strong understanding of the primary curriculum.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a school team.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging KS1 lessons.
• Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
• Assess and monitor pupil progress.
• Adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs.
• Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, parents/carers and colleagues.
• Work effectively with colleagues to support pupil development.
