About the Role: Hays is seeking a passionate and experienced Key Stage 1 Teacher for a well-regarded school in Barnsley. This role offers the chance to inspire young learners and contribute to their early educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to the diverse needs of Key Stage 1 students.
  2. Create a stimulating and supportive classroom environment.
  3. Assess and monitor students' progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
  4. Develop and implement engaging and creative lesson plans.
  5. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive curriculum.
  6. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding students' progress and development.
  7. Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
  8. Maintain accurate records of students' achievements and behaviour.

Requirements:

  1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching Key Stage 1.
