Primary School Year 2 Teacher Vacancy

I am currently working closely with a Primary School in South Gloucestershire that is looking for a Year 2 Teacher to join their friendly team from January.

This school offers a supportive environment. As a 3-form entry school, you will have numerous staff members to seek advice from and collaborate with throughout your tenure. The leadership team is passionate about providing children with positive and challenging learning experiences to help them reach their full potential.

The Role

This position is to start in January to cover maternity leave on a long-term basis.

You will work full-time, collaborating with another Year 2 teacher to plan engaging lessons.

You are expected to:

  1. Plan engaging and stimulating activities to motivate children.
  2. Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all children.
  3. Provide a safe and welcoming environment.
  4. Adapt interventions to support SEND children’s needs.
