Job description

I am currently searching for a well-driven and reliable KS1 Teacher to work across Merthyr Tydfil. The position is looking to start after February half term with the option for longer-term opportunities depending on performance. If you are an experienced KS1 teacher in primary schools or are looking to start your induction years in Merthyr Tydfil, then this opportunity could be perfect for you!

You will need to be able to deliver successful lessons within the classroom as well as having effective classroom management with the pupils in KS1. Delegating workloads to Teaching Assistants will also be a useful skill to have, as well as keeping and developing professional relationships with all staff within the school.

Criteria to work as a KS1 Teacher in Merthyr Tydfil:

1. 2 recent teacher references
2. PGCE or equivalent with QTS
3. An enhanced DBS with EWC registration
