Step Teachers are seeking a KS1 Teacher to start in September 2025 at a one-form entry Primary School located in Harpenden. This position is for a long-term supply role for at least one academic year, with the possibility of extension. The school values independence and creativity in its learners.

KS1 Teacher Role:

• Possess strong knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum
• Maintain a tidy and organized classroom with accessible resources
• Collaborate effectively with staff members across the school
• Monitor, assess, and report on student progress
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to student needs
• Adhere to and implement the school's policies effectively

KS1 Teacher Requirements:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Recent experience as a Primary School Teacher, preferably in KS1 within a mainstream school
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Experience with SEND is desirable
