Location: Gainsborough
Salary: £130 - £180 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long Term, Full-time / Part-time

Are you a passionate KS1 Teacher seeking a new challenge in a supportive school environment?

GSL Education are currently looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 Teacher to work in primary schools in the Gainsborough area.

As a Key Stage 1 Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching pupils in Years 1 and/or 2, delivering a broad and balanced curriculum while meeting national learning objectives. You will work closely with teaching assistants and senior leaders to support children’s individual learning journeys. This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced teacher or an ECT eager to contribute to pupils’ academic and personal development.

Responsibilities of KS1 Teacher:

  • Deliver engaging lessons in accordance with the KS1 national curriculum
  • Promote a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
  • Track and assess pupil progress, providing feedback and setting targets
  • Foster pupils’ independence, confidence, and love for learning
  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement
  • Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and carers to support children’s needs

Key Stage 1 Teacher Qualification:

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching in a Key Stage 1 setting
  • Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and phonics schemes
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
