Overview

We are seeking an experienced KS1 Teacher to join a vibrant school community in the Wyre area. This role is set to start ASAP and is initially contracted until October half-term, with the possibility of extension. The position has arisen due to the resignation of the current post holder. This role is not suitable for newly qualified teachers.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons that meet curriculum standards and the needs of pupils in KS1.
• Assess and record pupils' progress, preparing them for transition to the next stage of their education.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a constructive learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and academic success.
• Participate in school events and activities, contributing to the school\'s community spirit.
