Teach Now is seeking a KS1 Teacher for a full-time, long-term temporary role in Enfield, starting 8 September 2026. The position requires UK QTS, strong KS1 teaching experience, and expertise in phonics, curriculum and assessment.

You will differentiate for diverse learners, maintain consistent routines and collaborate with staff and families. The school emphasises warmth, structure, and creativity, offering a supportive environment and opportunities to contribute to a wider school community

Qualifications

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) required for KS1 teaching.

  • Reflective, organised and collaborative approach to teaching.

KS1 Teacher – Enfield Location: Enfield, London Salary: £37,870–£56,154 per annum, dependent on experience Contract: Full-time, long-term temporary Start Date: 8 September 2026 Some of the most important learning happens in Key Stage 1 – when children begin to see themselves as readers, writers, mathematicians and independent learners. Teach Now is looking for a skilled KS1 Teacher to take on a full-time, long-term role in an inclusive Enfield primary school from September. The school needs a KS1 Teacher who combines high expectations with warmth, structure and creativity. The role: Delivering the KS1 curriculum through clear, engaging teaching Providing strong phonics and early reading instruction Using assessment effectively to identify gaps and next steps Differentiating learning for pupils with a range of abilities and SEND Maintaining positive behaviour and consistent routines Working collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and phase colleagues Developing productive relationships with families You should have: UK QTS Successful KS1 teaching experience Strong curriculum and assessment knowledge Confidence teaching systematic synthetic phonics Effective behaviour-management skills A reflective, organised and collaborative approach This KS1 Teacher opportunity is particularly suited to someone looking for a stable September placement where they can fully invest in their class and become part of the wider school community.
