GSL Education is currently recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Teacher to join a welcoming and well-regarded primary school from September 2025. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity ideal for a passionate teacher looking to make a positive impact in the early years of a child’s education.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum

Create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that promotes curiosity and progress

Assess, monitor, and report on pupil attainment and development

Work closely with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents to support pupil learning and wellbeing

Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning across the classroom

Contribute to the wider school community through collaborative planning and school initiatives

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – ECTs may be considered depending on the school

Proven experience teaching in a KS1 setting

Strong classroom management skills and a child-centred approach

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

A genuine passion for teaching and supporting young learners
