Position:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 1 Teacher to join our team in Blackburn. The successful candidate must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have a strong background in teaching Year 1 students, with a solid understanding of the National Curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all students in the class.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued and supported.
- Assess student progress and provide regular feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of student achievement and progress.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching KS1/Year 1, with a thorough understanding of the National Curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
- Commitment to continuous professional development
Preferred Qualities:
- Previous experience as a Year 1 Teacher
