Castle Hill Infant School, part of the ASSET Education trust, is seeking a SEND Teacher for the KS1 Specialist Unit to start January 2027. The role focuses on teaching pupils with SEND within an inclusive, innovative curriculum and a two-school setting, reporting to the headteacher and collaborating closely with families.

Responsibilities

• Teach pupils in the KS1 Specialist Unit with a focus on SEND and inclusion
• Implement the school curriculum in an innovative, determined way
• Engage and challenge pupils in every lesson
• Set and maintain high expectations of pupils' achievement and behaviour
• Develop pupils socially, emotionally and culturally
• Work in partnership with staff, governors, parents and the wider community
• Take responsibility for own professional development and reflect on practice
