Job summary

Academics Doncaster South Yorkshire is recruiting a KS1/Year 3 Primary Teacher for a full-time position in Rotherham, with October 2026 start (or September). You will deliver the curriculum, inspire learners and build positive relationships in a welcoming school.

The role is two terms long and paid via PAYE at daily rates between 165 and 220, depending on experience. QTS holders encouraged; strong behaviour management and a caring, proactive approach are valued.

Qualifications

• Hold a QTS qualification (Early Career Teachers welcome to apply).
• Strong behaviour management and a caring, proactive approach.
• Able to work in Sheffield area placements.

Responsibilities

• Teach Year 3 in a KS1 setting and deliver the national curriculum.
• Inspire learners and build strong classroom relationships.
• Contribute to planning and assessment throughout the two-term placement.

Full-Time KS1 Primary Teaching Opportunity in Rotherham (longer term roles and daily work available)

A full-time teaching position has become available at one of our partner schools, starting

• Location: A well-established and welcoming primary school in Rotherham .
• Role: A full-time position teaching Year 3, providing the chance to deliver the curriculum, inspire young learners, and build strong classroom relationships.
• Duration: Two terms, offering consistency and stability through to the summer holidays.
• Pay Rate: Between 165 and 220 per day, depending on your experience and expertise.
• PAYE: Everyone who works for Academics is paid via PAYE, meaning you will receiving 100% of your agreed daily rate.
