KS1 Primary Teacher
A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Stockport is looking for a qualified KS1 teacher for a full-time classroom teaching position starting in September 2025. The school is committed to providing a high quality of education and ensuring all children are given the tools to succeed throughout the duration learning journey. They are seeking a passionate and dedicated teacher to join their team and provide an exceptional teaching experience for their students.
Role Description
- Planning and delivery of lessons across all subjects following the school’s curriculum including any specific schemes for subjects such as phonics.
- Ensure the wellbeing and safeguarding of all pupils in your care.
- Differentiating teaching to suit the specific needs of children in their class.
- Communicating appropriately with parents regarding all children’s progress and needs.
- Managing classroom environment and resources for the class.
Role Requirements
- A PGCE or completed education degree.
- Must be available full-time.
- Experience in a school/childcare setting.
- Some experience of using phonics schemes.
- Understanding of teaching methods and education procedures.
- Excellent written communication skills and command of English language.

An enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service is mandatory for this role. If you do not currently have one, you will need to apply through Teaching Personnel as part of the vetting process.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
