Job summary

Coba Education is seeking an experienced KS1 Teacher to join their supply team across Northamptonshire. You will teach across Years 1 and 2, delivering engaging lessons and covering for absent teachers.

The role offers flexibility from single-day bookings to longer placements, with a focus on creating a positive learning environment. Ideal candidates hold QTS, have KS1 teaching experience, and excel in classroom management.

Qualifications

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching KS1 (Year 1–2).
• Confident stepping into different classroom environments.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Adaptable, enthusiastic and reliable.

• Desires greater flexibility and control over working week.

Responsibilities

The role

• Teaching across Years 1 and 2
• Providing day-to-day cover when class teachers are absent
• Delivering engaging lessons using work provided by the school

• Taking on longer-term placements where suited to your experience and availability
