About the Role:
A vibrant, community-focused primary school in the London Borough of Camden is seeking a committed, enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Teacher to join their friendly and experienced teaching team from September 2025. Key Responsibilities:
  1. Plan and deliver engaging, well-differentiated lessons in line with the National Curriculum for Key Stage 1
  2. Assess, track, and monitor pupil progress, identifying areas for support and stretch
  3. Maintain high expectations for behaviour, learning, and personal development
  4. Contribute to the wider life of the school through assemblies, extracurricular activities, and enrichment opportunities
  5. Work collaboratively with the KS1 team to share best practice and drive continuous improvement
Candidate Requirements:
  1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent experience teaching within Key Stage 1
  2. Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum, assessment frameworks, and phonics delivery
  3. A positive, reflective, and proactive approach to teaching
  4. Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to build strong, nurturing relationships with pupils
  5. A commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and supporting all children to thrive
