Key Stage 1/2 Teacher – Maidstone (Rural Primary School)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term Contract

A wonderful opportunity has arisen for a qualified and dedicated primary school teacher to join a small, welcoming primary school located in a beautifully rural area just outside Maidstone. This is a full-time teaching position beginning in September 2025 and continuing on a long-term basis. The school fosters a close-knit, community atmosphere and is known for its nurturing approach and commitment to high standards of teaching and learning.

About the Role:
We are seeking an adaptable and enthusiastic teacher to take on a Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 class. The successful candidate will assume full teaching responsibilities, including planning, assessment, behaviour management, and contributing to wider school life. This role is ideal for a passionate educator looking to make a lasting impact in a supportive, small-school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching: Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons aligned with the KS1 or KS2 curriculum.
  • Assessment: Monitor and track pupil progress, providing tailored support and feedback.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Have teaching experience in Key Stage 1 or 2.
  • Be proactive, flexible, and confident in taking on full classroom responsibilities.
  • Be passionate about supporting children’s academic and emotional development.
  • Live in or near Maidstone and ideally have access to a car, due to the school’s rural location.
  • Hold a current, enhanced DBS check or be willing to obtain one.
