Job Description:

Simply Education are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate primary teacher to provide maternity cover for a year 2 class in a local central Northampton school. The school is a 2 form entry setting which is well resourced and has a friendly and supportive team. This role is ideally full time however part time options may be considered for the right candidate. This role is to start in September 2024 and will run until July 2025. The role is a planning, preparing and marking role however the school does provide medium term plans which support with this and PPA time will be offered to support with creating a good work life balance.

As a teacher you will:

Deliver engaging lessons to classes from Reception to Year 6

Follow provided plans to teach a range of subjects

Differentiate activities to suit all students' needs

Provide feedback on work and monitor student progress

Develop a rapport with staff and students

To be considered for this role you must have:

QTS and experience teaching in UK primary schools

Excellent organisation, time management and flexibility

A passion for nurturing children's development

The ability to establish authority and manage behaviour

This is a great opportunity to join a supportive primary school on a temporary basis
