KS1/KS2 Maths Specialist Teacher
Location: Manchester
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: MPS/UPS plus SEN point 1

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated KS1/KS2 Maths Specialist Teacher to join our dynamic team at a leading Special Educational Needs (SEN) School in Manchester. This full-time, permanent position offers the opportunity to work in a supportive and inclusive environment, making a significant impact on the educational journey of students with diverse learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored and engaging maths lessons to small groups of KS1 and KS2 students with SEN.

  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans to support students' mathematical development.

  • Collaborate with the SENCO and other staff to monitor and assess student progress.

  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters confidence and a love for learning.

  • Engage with parents and carers to support students' learning and development.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds QTS and has substantial experience teaching maths at KS1 and KS2 levels.

  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of SEN and strategies to support diverse learners.

  • Is passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with additional needs.

  • Possesses excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • Is committed to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
