Job description

KS1/KS2 Classroom Teacher
Long-term Supply
Bromley, London
£150/day

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons to KS1/KS2 students
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate teaching strategies to cater to the diverse needs of primary school students
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to students and parents
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support the overall educational experience
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a safe and respectful learning environment
  • Adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Participate in school meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development opportunities
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and other relevant information

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Proven experience teaching in primary education, specifically with KS1 and KS2 students
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is advantageous
  • Current DBS check or willingness to obtain one
