TeacherActive is working with a friendly and inclusive Primary School in Colchester to appoint a dedicated KS1 Class Teacher. The role is full-time, five days a week, with responsibility for Year 1, planning and delivering lessons and assessing pupil progress.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching within a Primary School setting.
• Confidence teaching and planning across the KS1 curriculum.
• High expectations for pupils of all abilities, including SEND and disadvantaged pupils.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons for KS1.
• Assess pupil progress and provide feedback.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and pupil welfare.
• Support children of all abilities to reach their potential.
