Start Date: September 2025
Pay Scale: 31,650- 49,084/ Annum

Are you an Early Career Teacher looking to start your teaching journey in a supportive and high-achieving environment? We are working with an 'Outstanding' primary school in South Oxfordshire that is looking to welcome a KS1 Class Teacher from September 2025.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated ECT to begin their career as a KS1 Class teacher in a school that values professional development, collaboration, and pupil wellbeing. You'll be supported by experienced staff and a strong leadership team as you begin your teaching journey.

Requirements for the KS1 Class Teacher:

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or due to achieve QTS by September 2025
  • A good understanding of the KS1 curriculum
  • Placement experience in UK primary schools (KS1 preferred)
  • A warm, engaging, and proactive approach to the classroom

Key Responsibilities for the KS1 Class Teacher:

  • Teach a KS1 class, focusing on developing both academic skills and personal growth
  • Work closely with experienced colleagues and receive mentoring support
  • Promote positive behaviour and create a safe, nurturing classroom environment
  • Plan and deliver creative and inclusive lessons
  • Option to participate in wider school life, including extracurricular activities and school events
  • Engage in regular professional development to build confidence and expertise

The school has an excellent SEN provision, including a dedicated SEN support team who assist with planning, differentiation, and daily classroom support for the KS1 Class Teacher.
