Job summary

Bosley St Mary's CE Primary School in a rural setting is seeking an enthusiastic KS1 Class Teacher to join our small, ambitious team as soon as possible.

You will provide high-quality teaching within Key Stage 1, foster a calm and inclusive classroom, and work with colleagues to develop reading, writing and maths foundations while supporting pupils with additional needs and safeguarding expectations.

Qualifications

• QTS is required and a strong KS1 background.
• Excellent teaching, reflective practice and high expectations.
• Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
• Willingness to contribute to school improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality teaching and learning in KS1.
• Create an inclusive, calm classroom with clear routines.
• Assess learning gaps and plan next steps.
• Support pupils with SEND and work with TAs.
• Engage with families and contribute to curriculum development.
