The Governors and Headteacher of Our Lady’s Catholic Primary School are seeking to appoint an excellent classroom practitioner to teach our highly creative and unique Year 1 and 2 children. Our Lady’s may be a small school, but we are an ambitious and rapidly developing and we are looking for someone to match that ambition and join us on our journey. The experience of teaching a split year groups is not essential, as we will support you every step of the way as you learn new skills.
The successful applicant will maintain our high expectations of behaviour and have a good working knowledge of the National Curriculum. They will be able to plan an exciting and engaging curriculum, which is progressive and informed by on-going assessments. They will ensure that all children know more, do more and remember more.

As a small school team (½ form entry) being a team player is essential. We work closely together to lead different subject areas and there is the opportunity for the successful candidate to take a lead role in curriculum development. Please express your subject interests and any previous/current subject leadership experience.
