An established educational institution is seeking a dedicated KS1 teacher to join their team for a full academic year starting in September 2025. This role offers the chance to contribute positively to the lives of young learners while supporting the school's vision of fostering potential in every child. The position is fixed-term, with opportunities for future roles across the federation. Ideal candidates will possess a passion for teaching and a commitment to professional growth. The school values inclusivity and welcomes applicants from diverse backgrounds, ensuring a supportive environment for both staff and pupils.
Our baby boom is continuing, so we are looking for a KS1 teacher to join our team for a full academic year starting in September 2025 to cover a maternity leave.
This post is based at Newington and is fixed term, but there are regular opportunities to move across the federation (our schools are only a mile apart), so other opportunities may arise later on. We are willing to pay for experience and would welcome applications from more experienced teachers as well as those new to the profession. We have a variety of expertise on staff and are looking for the right person so we are happy to consider candidates with experience in any key stage with a preference for those with KS1 experience. We have some degree of flexibility so are also willing to consider applications for a 4 day week, but are ideally looking for full-time cover.
Newington is a church school and our vision is about 'realising the God-given potential in everyone'. We welcome applications from people of all faiths or none but ask that you support our Christian values - welcoming, forgiving, generous and flourishing. At Lower Halstow our vision includes providing everyone with the opportunity to 'be the best they can be'.
We welcome visits to the schools and you are assured a warm welcome. We offer wonderful rural settings, well-resourced classrooms, polite pupils who are eager to learn and a ‘federation year group partner’ with opportunities for joint planning and mutual support where needed.
Please use Kent's Online Application Form if you are interested in this vacancy.
The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
This post involves working with children and therefore if successful you will be required to apply for Disclosure and Barring Service records checks at an enhanced level, a health check and have satisfactory references. We are committed to equality and diversity in employment practice and service delivery.
