Ivy House School, part of Inspired Education Group, is recruiting a KS1 Class Teacher for a January 2027 start on a 12-month maternity cover at our Hampstead campus. Qualifications

• Experience as a KS1 Class Teacher.
• Understand professional responsibilities in relation to school policies and practices.
• Set a good example to pupils through presentation and conduct.
• Evaluate teaching critically to improve effectiveness.
• Establish effective working relationships with colleagues.
• Passionate about extra-curricular life of the school.

Responsibilities

• Teach whole classes, groups and individuals effectively to meet objectives and maintain momentum.
• Plan lessons and sequences to meet students' learning needs.
• Maintain high behaviour standards and expectations in the classroom.
• Participate in Performance Management programme.
• Identify pupils with SEN and coordinate targeted support.
