Job summary

The Blue Coat School in Birmingham invites applications for a teaching post focused on early years and prep. You will plan and deliver the teaching programme, maintain high standards, and support the Headmaster in upholding the school's ethos.

You will promote wellbeing, monitor progress, engage with parents, and participate in assemblies and school events, while ensuring safeguarding and compliance with EYFS and safeguarding policies.

Responsibilities

• Exercise loyalty to the Headmaster and to the School, upholding and maintaining its traditions and ethos.
• Support and assist the Head of Pre-Prep in providing a happy, secure, safe and stimulating environment for children to reach their potential.
• Plan and deliver the teaching programme for all pupils within the classes allocated, with appropriate differentiation and assessment for learning.
• Promote the Spiritual, Moral, Social and Cultural development of the children and fundamental British Values.
• Lead assemblies when required and participate in school events and meetings with colleagues and parents.
