Job summary

E-ACT DSLV Academy invites applications for a KS1 Class Teacher to plan and deliver high-quality learning experiences across the KS1 curriculum, ensuring progression and confidence for every pupil.

You will foster an inclusive classroom culture, differentiate for SEND and EAL needs, assess pupil progress using data, and build strong relationships with pupils, families and carers to support wellbeing and attainment.

Qualifications

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status and eligibility to teach in the UK.
• Demonstrate effective classroom management and strong subject knowledge.
• Able to assess pupil learning accurately and use data to inform teaching.
• Excellent communication and teamwork with colleagues, parents and carers.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons across the KS1 curriculum, ensuring consistently strong progress and attainment for all pupils.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that promotes high expectations, curiosity, resilience and exemplary behaviour.
• Assess, monitor and report on pupil progress using data-driven insights to inform teaching and targeted support.
• Differentiate teaching to meet diverse needs including SEND and EAL.
• Build strong relationships with pupils, parents and carers to enhance learning outcomes and wellbeing.
