Job summary

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a committed and motivated KS1 Class Teacher to join a thriving mainstream primary school in Leyland from October half term until the end of the academic year as maternity cover.

This role would suit a teacher who is passionate about developing young learners and delivering an engaging curriculum that promotes progress, confidence, and a love of learning.

  • Plan and teach engaging Key Stage 1 lessons.
  • Deliver high-quality teaching that supports excellent pupil outcomes.
  • Monitor and assess pupil achievement and attainment.
  • Differentiate learning for pupils with varying abilities and needs.
  • Establish positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching within KS1 or primary education.

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
  • Main Pay Scale salary based on experience.
