KO in/to EN Transcription Editors, Subtitle Specialists and Translators-TechConf

We are seeking experienced linguists for a high-priority tech conference project involving transcription editing, subtitle creation, and translation in Korean and English (US).

This time-sensitive assignment has multiple stages, and we aim to build a reliable team. Please apply only if you have relevant experience and are available within the specified timeframes.

Project Overview & Tasks

1. Transcription Editing - KO > EN
   Source: Machine-generated transcript + Korean audio
   Scope: Correct AI mistakes, delete fillers, align sentences
   Volume: Approx. 60 mins video / 9,000 Korean words
   Start: May 22 (evening CET)
   Delivery: May 23, 14:00 CET
2. Subtitle Creation
   Based on Task 1 transcripts.
   Requirements: Follow pre-approved length, accurate time-coding, focus on readability, minimal styling.
3. Translation
   KO > EN (US) and EN > KO subtitle translation
   Options: 4-eyes principle (Translator + Editor)
   Volume: Approx. 18,000 words (2 hours video)
   Start: May 23 afternoon CET
   Deadline: May 26, 10:00 CET
   Finalization support: May 26-27, 10:00-18:00 CET

Requirements

• Native Korean and/or English (US) speakers
• Experience in transcription editing, subtitling, or TEP workflows
• Fast, detail-oriented, able to meet deadlines
• Familiarity with subtitle tools (e.g., SRT, VTT, Subtitle Edit) is a plus
