A global financial services group in London is seeking a KYC Reviewer/Approver to ensure compliance with KYC practices and conduct thorough reviews for client onboarding. The ideal candidate will have experience in KYC, strong communication skills, and attention to detail. This role offers a hybrid working opportunity and is a fixed-term position for 12 months.
The Client Operations team plays a vital role in supporting Macquarie’s business by ensuring that our client onboarding and ongoing due diligence processes meet the highest standards of compliance and quality. We work collaboratively with colleagues across various business, operations, support, and risk functions, coordinating efforts to maintain robust Know Your Customer (KYC) practices. This role requires 3 days per week in the advertised location (hybrid working may be available for other roles). This is a fixed term opportunity for 12 months.

As a KYC Reviewer/Approver, you are responsible for supporting stakeholders by identifying gaps, recommending improvements, and ensuring compliance with external regulations and internal policies. You will conduct thorough reviews and approvals for new client onboarding, ongoing due diligence, and remediation files, working closely with KYC Analysts and other teams to meet regulatory and quality standards. Your role involves reviewing escalations, delivering training, and participating in meetings focused on best practices and quality themes. You will also contribute to process improvement initiatives and promote adherence to policies and procedures, encouraging a learning and risk-aware approach within the team.
