Job summary

Job description

Four Seasons Recruitment is partnered with a beautiful luxury, sustainable womenswear brand that specializes in feminine garments.

This brand is looking for an experienced Knit Product Developer to join the team, reporting directly to the Creative Director/Founder.

About the Role:
  1. Source yarns for the upcoming season, liaise with mills, request yarn cards/feelers, and gather all yarn information.
  2. Work on mood boards and concepts for knit shapes and stitches that embody the brand's key values and handwriting.
  3. Liaise closely with yarn and knitwear suppliers throughout the season.
  4. Ensure all knitwear swatches, colour cards, and seasonal information are archived.
  5. Issue stock orders and manage the logistics of the delivery.
  6. Work closely with key suppliers on tech packs and sample management.
  7. Present yarn selection to the Creative Director and follow up on choices with colour cards, test cones, swatching, etc.
  8. Manage lab dip requirements, development, raw stock, and sample yarn orders to ensure timely deliveries.
About You:
  1. Excellent technical knowledge of knitwear, yarns, and knitwear manufacturing.
  2. Experience working with mills in the UK and Italy is essential.
  3. Previous experience working in a luxury womenswear brand is essential.
  4. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Excel.
  5. Pro-active, hardworking, and a good communicator.
