Job Description:

Elite have partnered with a gorgeous contemporary womenswear brand, who are seeking a Knitwear Garment Technologist to join the team.

This role is responsible for the development of all Knit & Jersey product, ensuring that each product conveys the designer’s vision, while meeting all fit and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage fit sessions and ensure consistent garment fit across styles
  • Create and maintain tech packs, size specs, and grading
  • Liaise with global suppliers on construction, materials, and finishes
  • Approve samples and monitor quality from development through to production
  • Conduct testing for yarns, shrinkage, and durability
  • Support on-time delivery through critical path tracking

Requirements

  • 3+ years' experience in knitwear garment technology
  • Strong knowledge of yarns, gauges, stitch structures, and knitwear construction
  • Experience working with offshore factories
  • Proficiency in garment tech software (e.g., Illustrator, PLM, Excel)
  • Detail-oriented with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
