NHS Grampian is seeking a dynamic and compassionate Consultant Psychiatrist to lead and deliver high-quality care across both Outpatient and Inpatient Adult Eating Disorder services. This newly configured post offers an opportunity for the successful candidate to take on a key leadership role in helping develop the service evolution in response to the Scottish Government’s review and new specification guidance for Eating Disorders services in Scotland.
You will work within a well-established multidisciplinary team, providing Psychiatric leadership and clinical input to both the Grampian Eating Disorder Service (GEDS) and the Eden Unit, a regional specialist inpatient facility.
Lead and deliver high-quality psychiatric care across Outpatient and Inpatient Eating Disorder services. Provide clinical input and leadership within a multidisciplinary team and contribute to service development in line with national guidance. Support the training and development of resident doctors and participate in medical education wherever possible. Support digitalisation and hybrid working arrangements across community, hospital sites, and remote work where workload allows.
